The Rising Prince !!

August 23, 2005

Abhishek Bachchan on the cover of India Today's Aug 29th Edition made sure that I owned a copy. Ever since his debut with the Box Office Bomb 'Refugee' (Kareena Kapoor was given rave reviews), I'd always maintained that he was not made for 'running around trees' kinda roles. AB Jnr. proved me right with Yuva and then then stole the second half of 'Sarkar' from his Dad with a stellar performance. The Article in India Today(which I tried copying only to find out that the online version was strictly members only) meanders through his 17 straight flops to his 4 Hits - Dhoom, Bunty Aur Babbli, Sarkar & Dus. The Nextgen Superstar has arrived....finally, Bye Bye Hrithik !

Hrithik was never the super star..never the even noticeable actor... he was always hyped up...

as for ABjr,we, like you, are glad that the media no more treats him as a part of his fathers shadow

Hrithik on the cover of this very mag was touted as the Next Gen Superstar, one who'll send all the khans home. He is good but not in the league of AB Jnr.

Who is this WE ??? ;)
